Tintsaba’s love angels are made by 980 women in rural Swaziland. These women are artists, mothers, community role models with business savvy, and the hands behind products sold in stores across the world. And even featured on the covers of high-end home décor magazines. Now imagine what these women could achieve if they could read and write!
Tintsaba Reads was launched in January 2010. It is a literacy project that teaches the women who make Love Angels to read and write. Like our women, Tintsaba Reads want to be independent! Twenty five percent of proceeds from the sale of all Love Angels will be allocated to Tintsaba Reads until all these women are free to enjoy the pleasures and benefits of reading and writing.
